The video contains three true love stories encouraging kids to love their neighbor, their family, and God. My favorite part is when real kids are asked to explain their thoughts on God’s love, and their voices are added to animated “veggie kids” doing cute activities while being interviewed. I gave this to my kids last Valentine’s Day, and they still love watching it!

There are six chapters, and at the end of each chapter is a set of discussion questions, a Bible verse, and a prayer. This book would make a great devotional to do with your children and teaches the importance of following the good shepherd who loves them very much! I will be reading this one with my kids this year!

100 Things God Loves About You: Simple Reminders for When You Need Them Most

This book would be perfect for any teenagers needing reminders of God’s perfect love for them! Each page has a Bible verse and/or a related idea of what God loves about them. These encouraging truths about God’s love are so important for teens to grasp and receive from God as they walk through the challenging times that teen years can bring. (I found an updated version on christianbooks.com with a Valentine’s themed cover if you prefer over this one on Amazon!)
Jesus Calling: Enjoy Peace in His Presence

This is a great devotional to help your teen understand how God wants to speak to you and have a personal relationship with you. I have heard of several teens who have grown in their faith through reading this devotional. The “teen edition” has the same content as the regular edition, but with youthful graphics on the pages to make it more fun of this generation. The devotional contains daily readings about what God spoke to the author each day as she spent time with Him. Each message aligns with scripture, and God has used this book in amazing ways to speak to countless readers and grow them closer in a personal relationship with Him.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.
