This is a great way to encourage them in their personal relationship with Jesus.

The Pilgrim’s Progress

This 2019 allegoric film, based on the famous, classic book, helps kids understand what it really means to wholeheartedly follow Jesus and not give into temptations of the world. It has helped my kids to recognize temptations and lies from the enemy and has encouraged them to remain strong in their faith in Jesus. Although it is animated, some children may be fearful of some of the scenes, so I do recommend you watch it first if you are concerned, and I wouldn’t recommend this movie for most preschoolers or younger elementary-aged children.

If you have older kids, you may also consider a Christian t-shirt, age-appropriate devotional or Bible, and/or a Christian book or audio drama.  Check out my resource pages  for great ideas to grow them in their faith at Easter!
