Living in today’s modern world, we have a great number of parenting websites, blogs, and resources available at the tip of our fingers. While this can be a good thing for so many reasons, it can also feel like searching for precious gems amidst the rocks and debris surrounding them, and then determining if the gems truly hold value.
We desire to fill our kids with ideas that will build them up in their faith and character, not bring them down. But with so many “feel good” yet “not so good” movie options, and the pull from our culture to watch them, it makes it difficult to know how to handle the entertainment world as a Christian parent.

This season of life dealing with the coronavirus reminds me a lot of the Israelites wandering in the desert after escaping Egypt.
